The PBA was contacted by the AFSCME President who had some concerns about election day at the polls. In several districts we are not supporting the same candidate as them BUT remember we are in this together and please avoid any confrontations with fellow City Employees.
The PBA representatives have each overseen the campaign of a Hollywood candidate during the last several months. They have worked very hard coordinating walks and bringing checks from retirees to the candidates. The total is over $6,000 collected from retirees to help new commissioners get elected.
There was a FF sighting on the 5th floor of the BSO/HQ on Broward Blvd. where he had a meeting with Lamberti.
Tomorrow is election day and we will be staffing the polls, starting at 0630 am from my house.
